Do something amazing and join our Board of Trustees.

We are actively seeking new Trustees for the Board to help with the management and governance of the SALTO's two charities. The board should reflect the diversity of SALTO membership and the communities it serves in Luton and the surrounding towns and villages. The role requires lay people, parents and professionals who have a wide range of skills and experience to assist with the diverse strategic needs.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Trustee of the The SALTO Foundation Limited and SALTO Gymnastics Club. Being a Trustee of a registered charity and in the case of The SALTO Foundation Limited, a director of a limited company, places certain obligations on an individual and so it is important that he or she is fully aware of the objects and management systems of the organisation so that he/she can be a fully functional and effective member of the team. Unless specifically mentioned, references in this document to SALTO shall mean both charities and any related subsidiary company.

We ask that all our Trustees become active members of the respective boards by attending as many Board meetings as possible and by joining our sub-committees commensurate with their skills. We also consider it important that all Trustees make regular contact the Management at the Club and visit the SALTO Centre as part of their induction and ongoing personal development as a Trustee.

Hopefully this will give you a clear insight into our work and your role and responsibilities.

If you would like to formalise your interest we ask that you download and complete the application information.

Do you have skills and experience in any the following areas?

Gymnastics or Sports Clubs; Finance; Legal and Regulatory Compliance; Voluntary Sector; Planning; Health and Safety, Human Resources; Events Management; Volunteer Management; Finance; Fundraising; Marketing; Sponsorship; IT, Social Media.
