A fantastic weekend for our tumbling squad at the SALTO Open! 🤸‍♀️💜

Sunday was a big day for our tumbling programme, with our gymnasts getting the opportunity to compete at home at SALTO alongside clubs and gymnasts from across the region.

For some, Sunday was their first ever tumbling competition. For others, it was an opportunity to compete new routines, test their progress and showcase everything they’ve been working towards in training.

A massive well done also goes to Peggi, Tia, Isabella, Leah, Olivia, Irina and Sara, who represented SALTO on Sunday and gained more valuable competition experience.

Sunday also marks an exciting point for our tumbling programme. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been restructuring our squads and holding trials to welcome new tumblers into the programme ahead of the 2026/27 season.

With new gymnasts joining, our existing athletes progressing and the programme continuing to grow, we’re excited to see what we can achieve over the coming season. The work now continues in the gym as we focus on skill upgrades, increasing difficulty and improving the quality and consistency of our routines. 💪🏼

Finally, a huge thank you to all of the visiting clubs, coaches, judges, volunteers, parents and supporters who helped make the competition possible. It was fantastic to welcome so many gymnasts to SALTO and have the opportunity to compete together on our home track. 💜
